Shopping before Safari in Arusha

Question

Can anyone tell me if it would be feasible to wait until arriving in Arusha to purchase Safari gear, such as wide-brimmed hat and Safari boots?

    If you’re not doing walking or hiking on safari, you don’t need safari boots. Comfy shoes – walkers, mocassins – will be fine. Hats can be found most places, if not in Arusha, many of the lodges/camps sell often with their own logo. For the wide brimmed hats can easily be purchased in Arusha. Try in the shopping are near to the Shoprite (There is a new supermarket but everyone knows the area as shorpight)
